Yes - and it will usually expedite your waiting time in the clinic. When you click “Schedule an Appointment” on AlphaMeD’s website, you will be prompted to input your personal demographic information, medical history, any medications you are taking, and a consent form to read and sign. If you choose to complete this in the clinic, our front desk staff can help with this process if Needed.
If you’re not sure if a video visit is right for you, call any of our offices to discuss your questions and concerns. Typically, any type of appointment that does not include a physical examination is a perfect fit. This can include treatment for illnesses that do not require lab testing, follow up appointments, reviewing results, and prescription refills.
For urgent care, most of our providers work at the same locations, however there is a chance that the provider you originally saw may not be in the clinic at the time of your visit. All of our providers specialize and promote patient focused, team-based care. Your care is a top priority at AlphaMeD and all of our providers work collectively to ensure that you receive the best care Possible.
For primary care, you will have a main provider with whom you schedule each visit. In the event you need to be seen at a time your primary care provider is not available, you can be seen by any of our urgent care providers who can access your medical information and provide immediate care for your situation in sync with your primary care providers’ plan.
You can access your patient portal at the home screen of AlphaMeD’s website to view your patient chart, visit notes, lab results, and more! You will need to use the email address you used at the time of your registration, your date of birth, and a PIN number provided by our front office Staff.
Our staff work directly with imaging facilities in the neighborhood. We will help coordinate an appointment that works best for you in a timely manner. Once the imaging is completed and we receive your results, we will reach out to you to review and discuss an appropriate treatment Plan.
We do! A lot of our providers specialize in sports medicine and we have an x-ray technician at every clinic. We can perform most x-rays on extremities. We cannot perform x-rays on the skull or spine. We encourage you to call our office with any questions or concerns regarding an x-ray.
No! We accept walk-ins for urgent care at every clinic. Scheduling appointments online is simple, however we do accept walk-ins Monday through Thursday from 8am-8pm, Friday from 8am-6pm, and Saturday from 10am-4pm. (For Scottsdale, our hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm)
Our average wait time is around fifteen minutes. However, given the nature of walk-in medical facilities, there can be busy periods with longer wait times. If we are experiencing a high volume of patients, our front desk staff can give you options to come back later without losing your place in line.
If you have a higher deductible plan that you have not met, AlphaMeD will collect $90 at the time of visit. We will then bill your insurance, and the remaining balance after insurance will be Collected.
At the time of visit, we collect your ID, insurance card, and a credit card to keep securely on file. We place a credit card on file to make collecting payment easier for you. Once your insurance has been billed, AlphaMeD will notify you via text what the remaining balance is upon which you will have 7 days to pay. After 7 days, your card will be automatically run for the remaining Balance.
