Meet Becky
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Becky moved to Phoenix to attend Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology in 2009. She then attended the A.T. Still University Physician Assistant program and graduated in 2013, receiving the PA Program Faculty Award, which is given to the PA student who demonstrates outstanding achievement. After graduation, she knew that she wanted to work with patients of all ages, so she went into family medicine. While she loved family medicine, she decided that she wanted something a bit more fast paced and has been practicing urgent care medicine since late 2014.
Becky has experience seeing all types of patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics, and particularly enjoys performing in-office procedures. She believes in holistically treating the whole patient and thinks that good mental and emotional health are just as important as physical health.
While she used to enjoy international travel and marathon running, after having kids she has learned to enjoy staying closer to home and going on shorter runs, often with a toddler in tow. In her free time you can find her spending time reading, doing yoga, hiking, going on bike rides, and spending time with her husband, children, and two dogs.
