Job description
Medical Assistant Duties: – Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance forms – Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments – Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse – Prepare patients for X-ray procedures and assist with positioning and equipment setup – Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers – Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing including blood draws – Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care – Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment Skills: – Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members – Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and record keeping – Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy – Attention to detail to accurately record patient information and follow instructions – Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
