Stacey Root, PA-C

Stacey Root is a highly experienced physician assistant ready to assist you with all of your urgent care and orthopedic needs.  Stacey is a transplant from Pennsylvania but has deep roots in the Valley of the Sun. She served as the athletic trainer at Camelback High School in Phoenix for several years before attending Northern Arizona University’s physician assistant program. After graduating from NAU in 2018, she started her career at a level 2 trauma center in Fort Wayne, IN as an orthopedic trauma PA. 

Stacey is so excited to be back in her favorite city to care for you and your family at AlphaMeD.  She treats patients of all ages including pediatrics, who hold a special place in her heart. She specializes in reading images, fracture reduction, casting, and minor surgical procedures. Stacey is looking forward to using her ortho trauma experience to manage your more urgent orthopedic needs. She is also educated and skilled to provide you and your family with excellent general medical care as well.

In her spare time, Stacey likes to play with her dogs and cow on the farm where she lives. She also enjoys hiking, crafting, and binge watching crime shows on her days away from AlphaMeD.
