Front Office Representative

Front Office Representative Job Responsibilities
- Engage patients and guide them throughout the process of their visit:
- Greet them warmly.
- Provide information, services, and assistance.
- Obtain their information, record medical history, and confirm purpose of visit.
- Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history summary.
- Secure patient information, insurance information, and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; and keeping patient information confidential.
- Schedule follow-up visits or referral appointments and provide patient with resources to help them with their recovery
- Collect any payments available during time of visit
- Maintain a positive, friendly, energetic demeanor even when patient volume is high and the environment can be stressful
- Create an orderly, clean environment in the clinic
- Clean facility throughout the day including personal workspaces, waiting room, exam areas, floors, bathrooms, etc.
- Maintain medical supplies inventory ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt, and performing preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating.
- Maintain all necessary logs including lab, x-ray, medications, and other mandated recording.

- Look for ways to serve outside your specified roles and take on any additional duties when the situation calls for it
Work Hours and Benefits
AlphaMeD has three facilities that are open for twelve hours a day during weekdays and ten hours on the weekend. Typically, a clinic will be staffed in six or twelve hour shifts and will include a provider, a radiology technician, and one or two customer care representatives. Positions are offered as full or part time. Full-time employees are eligible to receive healthcare benefits. In addition, our clinics have a workout facility that are for the use of employees. Any healthcare service AlphaMeD offers is available to employees free of charge.
