See How Employer DPC Works

One Model. Two Employer Strategies.

Small & Growing Businesses

Offer a healthcare benefit employees can actually use

Many small businesses want to support employee health but find traditional group insurance too expensive, restrictive, or difficult to administer.

AlphaMeD Employer DPC can provide employees with access to everyday primary care through a predictable membership benefit.

Small Business Benefits

A practical first step into employer-sponsored healthcare.

Large & Self-Funded Businesses

Make primary care work harder within your existing health plan

For organizations offering an HDHP, level-funded plan, or self-funded plan, DPC can serve as an accessible front door to the healthcare system.

Employees can address medical concerns earlier, receive support managing ongoing conditions, and get help navigating testing, specialists, and outside care when needed.

Large Business Benefits

A stronger primary care foundation for your existing health plan.

Direct Care Membership

Primary Care Made Simple

Direct Primary Care, or DPC, is a membership-based healthcare model that gives employees direct access to a dedicated primary care team without billing insurance for the care included in the membership.

Instead of navigating an insurance network for everyday medical needs, employees can turn directly to AlphaMeD for routine, preventive, chronic, and timely care.

A Healthcare Benefit Employees Can Feel

Employees do not experience healthcare benefits as plan documents or spreadsheets. They experience them when they are sick, worried, unable to get an appointment, or unsure where to go.

AlphaMeD gives employees a trusted place to start.

A Benefit Employees Value

Employees receive practical access to healthcare they can use throughout the year—not only after meeting a large deductible.

Earlier, More Appropriate Care

Better access can help employees address concerns before they become more serious and direct care away from unnecessarily expensive settings.

A Stronger Long-Term Benefits Strategy

DPC can support employee health, benefit engagement, recruitment, retention, and more deliberate healthcare spending.

Local Care. Real Relationships. Built for Arizona Employers.

AlphaMeD isn’t a faceless, national corporation. Our roots are right here in Arizona.

We have multiple convenient Valley locations and an experienced clinical team that provides primary care, preventive care, ongoing health management, and timely medical support.

Unlike a virtual-only benefit, AlphaMeD gives employees access to a local care team and physical locations throughout the Phoenix area.

Convenient Access

Employees can text or message their AlphaMeD care team directly for questions, follow-ups, and non-urgent medical needs—often without needing to schedule a visit.

When an appointment is needed, employees can be seen quickly and with less friction than in traditional systems.

Relationship-Based Care

Providers have more time to understand each employee’s health, history, and concerns.

Because access isn't locked behind "in-network" and "out-of-network," patients get to build real medical relationships.

In-Person and Virtual Support

Care can include clinic visits and convenient virtual communication with the care team. Whether patients are on vacation or checking in late at night, our multi-touchpoint care options meet every need.

Healthcare Navigation

When testing, imaging, specialists, or higher levels of care are needed, AlphaMeD helps employees understand the appropriate next step. When an appointment is needed, employees can be seen quickly and with less friction than in traditional systems.

DPC is not health insurance.

A Direct Primary Care membership can be offered as a stand-alone healthcare benefit for some businesses or combined with health insurance, an HDHP, level-funded coverage, self-funded coverage, or another benefits strategy. However, it does not qualify as insurance either for Marketplace requirements or other health networks.

HSA Compatibility Note

Qualifying DPC arrangements can now work alongside HSA-compatible coverage without preventing otherwise eligible employees from contributing to an HSA.

Beginning in 2026, certain qualifying DPC arrangements may be compatible with HSA contributions and HSA payment of periodic DPC fees. Eligibility and plan design are subject to federal requirements and should be reviewed with the employer’s benefits and tax advisors.
