Meet Matt
Matt Overlin was born and raised in Indiana. He graduated from Ball State University in 1997 where he majored in Athletic Training. After graduating with his undergraduate degree, he went on to work at Henry County Sports Medicine in New Castle, IN for 5 years. During this time, he worked alongside Physicians and Physician Assistants that encouraged him to further his education. In 2002, he applied and was accepted into the Marquette University PA program in Milwaukee, WI. He was honored to be elected Class President and graduated from Marquette in 2005 with an emphasis in Orthopedics.
Upon graduation, his family moved to Chandler, AZ and has been living and working in the east valley for over 17 years. Matt has 20+ years of experience treating orthopedic and urgent care medical issues. He went on to expand his expertise in Orthopedics by obtaining his Orthopedic Certification of Added Qualification in 2014. Since moving to the east valley, he has been the sports medicine provider for Hamilton High School athletics, oversaw medical coverage for east valley youth sports clubs, volunteered at the non-for-profit Chandler CARE clinic and a preceptor for physician assistant students. He has also enjoyed traveling with the US National Soccer teams, as their sports medicine provider, for international tournaments and training.
Matt enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, 3 kids and 3 dogs during his free time.
